• Dizziness, darkening vision on standing, marked weakness, palpitations or syncope may accompany low blood pressure. Older adults, people at higher fall risk or those using other antihypertensives require timely review of the complete medicine list. Severe syncope, injury or altered awareness needs local emergency care.
• Hydralazine can cause myocardial stimulation, tachycardia and angina; the label links it to myocardial ischaemia and notes implication in myocardial infarction.
