• Check Lipitor / 立普妥®, atorvastatin calcium tablets, the stated strength per tablet, oral film-coated form and target market together. The Mainland China first-party leaflet lists 10 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg; the current U.S. label also has 80 mg, while Japan PMDA also has 5 mg. These market-specific strengths must not be merged into one product set.
• The Mainland China first-party leaflet Version No. 20260119 lists excipients including calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, croscarmellose sodium, polysorbate 80, hydroxypropyl cellulose, magnesium stearate and coating-related ingredients. The excipient list helps check the exact product and frame allergy, tolerability or interaction questions for a clinician or pharmacist; it does not prove another manufacturer is less effective, turn 40 mg automatically into two 20 mg tablets, or provide a personal tablet count.
• Viatris China's packaging-update statement says Pfizer and VIATRIS branding, company names, tablet text and score may change during the packaging transition, and older and newer packs may coexist. A different appearance alone does not prove a medicine is counterfeit; continue by checking the complete pack, leaflet version, approval number and official lookup route.
• Atorvastatin and rosuvastatin are both statins. Without a specific plan from the prescriber or pharmacist, do not self-combine them on the same day, alternate them, replace one pack with the other, or change use based on a feeling; review the complete medicine list instead.
