- The label warns about postural hypotension, dizziness and syncope, particularly when starting, increasing a strength or resuming after interruption. Older adults, people with falls or another blood-pressure medicine require priority full-list review; the site generates no restart or titration plan.
- PDE-5 inhibitors such as CIALIS or VIAGRA can add to blood-pressure lowering and cause symptomatic hypotension with CARDURA; strong CYP3A inhibitors may also increase exposure. Do not self-separate, halve or stop a pack.
- Before cataract surgery, tell the eye team about current or previous CARDURA/other alpha-1 blocker use. The label does not support self-stopping for this reason.
