• The public label lists 40, 80, 160 and 320 mg tablets. Each number first identifies that tablet's stated strength; different mg markings, markets or packs cannot be self-combined into an answer for how many tablets to take today. Use the actual prescription and current label.
• Tablet colour, shape or debossing are supporting checks, not a way to authenticate a medicine, establish interchangeability, or decide whether it may be split or crushed. For an actual pack, ask a pharmacist to check current information for that market, version and strength.
• The label identifies kidney-function changes, potassium, lithium, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines and other medicines acting on the renin-angiotensin system as items needing review.
