- Older adults, people with falls, those rising at night or using another blood-pressure medicine should have the full list, recent interruption and symptoms reviewed. Do not self-restart, increase, separate or stop a pack.
- The label reports hypotension with PDE-5 inhibitors. If CIALIS, VIAGRA or a similar medicine is on the same list, do not self-design spacing or dose reductions.
- Before cataract surgery, tell the eye team about current or previous terazosin/other alpha-1 blocker use; the label says self-stopping has not shown benefit.
- Syncope or a fall with injury needs timely medical assessment. A painful erection lasting for hours is a rare but urgent labelled warning requiring immediate emergency care.
