- Check route and release design first: this page covers immediate-release oral tablets, not sublingual or extended-release products. Do not convert, alternate or substitute by milligrams with IMDUR, MONOKET, NITROSTAT or historical ISORDIL sublingual/extended-release products.
- PDE-5 inhibitors such as sildenafil, tadalafil or vardenafil, and the soluble guanylate cyclase stimulator riociguat, are contraindication-review scenarios with ISORDIL. Do not invent a few-hour separation to bypass them.
- Dizziness, postural hypotension and syncope may occur. Co-listing antihypertensives, other vasodilators, diuretics or alcohol requires priority review. Unsteadiness on standing, a fall or fainting in an older person needs timely assessment.
