• The U.S. public label lists 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg tablets. Each number first identifies the stated sitagliptin product strength; different colours, milligram markings or market packages are not answers a person can independently convert, combine or alternate.
• The label contains a kidney-function dosing section, showing that kidney information belongs in prescription review rather than self-selection of a strength from a webpage. If recent tests, health status or other medicines change, use a prescribing team or pharmacist for review.
• When insulin or an insulin secretagogue is also used, a possible adverse reaction occurs, or a change from another glucose-lowering medicine is being considered, bring the complete medicine list for review.
