- 25 mg or 50 mg is a labelled strength per tablet, not a web answer to how many tablets anyone should take today. Check brand, generic name, extended-release tablet, strength per tablet, package and market together.
- The label says the extended-release tablet is swallowed whole and not cut, crushed or chewed. A split tablet is not an automatic half-dose, and the tablet must not be self-converted or substituted milligram-for-milligram with same-name extended-release oral-suspension granules.
- The label includes warnings involving blood pressure, urinary retention, allergic swelling and some co-medications. With high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, other urinary medicines, cardiovascular medicines or any prescription/OTC medicine and supplements, have a clinician or pharmacist review the actual pack; do not self-add or alternate based on bladder-use wording.
