• Check NAMENDA, memantine hydrochloride, 5 mg or 10 mg, NDC, film-coated oral-tablet form and target market together. A shared brand or generic name does not prove that another strength, NAMENDA XR, an oral solution, a combination product or another-market product is interchangeable.
• The 5 mg, 10 mg and “60-tablet bottle” wording identifies these two historical label panels; it does not say how many tablets to use, when to change, whether to make up a missed use or whether splitting is appropriate. Take the current pack, prescription and full medicine list to a pharmacist or prescribing team for any actual-use question.
• Adverse-reaction and interaction sections of the label help frame questions; they do not let a webpage determine the cause of a symptom. Especially with older age, multiple conditions or multiple medicines, do not self-stop, combine, alternate or adjust because of dizziness, confusion, constipation, urine-pH-related wording or package numbers.
