• Check OFEV, nintedanib, oral-capsule form, the stated 100 or 150 mg per capsule, the actual pack and target market together. Mg is the labelled amount in an exact capsule, not a web rule for how many capsules an individual should use, and it cannot self-convert another medicine, market product or form.
• The U.S. label says the capsules should be swallowed whole and not chewed, opened or crushed. This is label wording for this exact capsule product and cannot be generalised to another capsule or tablet. For swallowing difficulty, missed use, a mismatched pack or a contemplated change in use, first have a pharmacist or prescribing team review the actual pack and complete medicine list.
• The label identifies liver context, gastrointestinal problems, bleeding risk, arterial thromboembolic events and multiple medicines as review cues.
