Neither the unscored appearance nor the extended-release wording is web permission to cut, crush, powder or replace another strength with half a tablet; check the exact product, prescription and current label in hand.
- Do not self-combine it with NAPROSYN, ALEVE, ADVIL, MOBIC, CELEBREX, ARCOXIA, analgesic-dose aspirin or another NSAID. Different brand names may still share class risks; the site does not generate separation or substitution plans.
- Older adults; people with prior ulcer or bleeding, cardiovascular disease, heart failure, oedema, hepatic or renal impairment; and those co-using anticoagulant/antiplatelet medicines, corticosteroids, an SSRI/SNRI, ACE inhibitor/ARB, diuretic, lithium, methotrexate or ciclosporin require priority pharmacist or clinical review.
