- Check the active ingredients on every pack. ZESTRIL is lisinopril alone and MICROZIDE is hydrochlorothiazide alone; HYZAAR, DIOVAN HCT, AVALIDE and EXFORGE HCT also contain hydrochlorothiazide. If they appear together, do not remove or add a pack yourself; a pharmacist or prescriber must review the complete prescriptions.
- ENTRESTO contains sacubitril/valsartan. The current ZESTORETIC label identifies products containing a neprilysin inhibitor as a special contraindication boundary and states a 36-hour restriction around switching an ACE inhibitor. The site does not use that statement to arrange an individual's stopping or switching; contact the prescriber or pharmacist promptly for review.
- Swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, or difficulty swallowing or breathing, may be angioedema and requires local emergency services immediately. Do not wait for a website assessment.
- Dizziness, fainting, marked weakness, thirst, clearly reduced urine, persistent vomiting or diarrhoea, muscle weakness or cramps, or an abnormal heartbeat may accompany changes in blood pressure, fluid balance, kidney function or electrolytes. Use local emergency services for severe or sudden symptoms or altered consciousness.
