- Check ELIQUIS, the generic name apixaban, adult oral tablet form, stated strength per tablet and target market together. 2.5 mg and 5 mg are labelled tablet-strength clues; they are not an answer to how many tablets anyone should take and do not make different dosage forms self-interchangeable by milligrams.
