- Check the dosage form before the number: 1.5, 3, 4.5 and 6 mg are amounts per capsule; 2 mg/mL is the oral-solution concentration; mg/24h is nominal patch delivery over 24 hours. These quantities cannot be directly divided, added or exchanged.
- EMA product information states that capsules are swallowed whole, and the package text says not to crush or open them. Do not open, pour out, divide or mix capsule contents to obtain a ‘half amount’; check the pack, prescription and pharmacist advice together.
- The oral solution is 2 mg/mL and comes with an oral dosing syringe; 50 mL or 120 mL is the bottle content, not one use. The site does not calculate an individual's millilitres from concentration, bottle size or prescribing text.
- The EMA label describes equal-dose interchange between capsules and oral solution within professional prescribing. This is not permission for public self-conversion. Any change needs a clinician or pharmacist using the exact prescription, actual pack, dosing syringe and interruption history.
