• The two mg values on a combination tablet identify stated strengths for different components such as sitagliptin and metformin HCl. Do not read them as one total milligram value or use them to self-add a separate metformin or other glucose-lowering medicine.
• The label says starting use is based on the prior regimen and identifies kidney function, dehydration, infection, alcohol and iodinated contrast as situations needing professional assessment. With such changes, contact the responsible team to review the actual product rather than self-adjusting or stopping.
• When insulin or an insulin secretagogue is also used, the label notes that hypoglycaemia risk may need extra management; this is not a universal online adjustment rule. Record every medicine name, strength and actual timing for a clinician or pharmacist to review.
• Package colour, tablet appearance and the two numbers only help locate a product for checking. They cannot authenticate it, establish current approval, show it is the same version or prove it suits another family member.
